The prayer
Written prayerHeavenly father I find such sweet peace in your presence. There is nowhere else I would rather be than resting in the comfort of your loving arms. Finding you and surrendering to your lordship has renewed my joy and I have found the meaning in this life. You have caused me to return home to the heart of my father. My life is no longer my own. You purchased me back from the dominion of evil and I belong to you now. My soul waits for you to guide me into my future. You are my help in times of trouble and my protection against the assault of the enemy. I am content to wait for your intervention whether it is deliverance from an attack from the enemy, healing from physical sickness, or comfort from the fear and stress in this world. I trust in you, your will for my life, your timing in all things, and know that you desire to bless me with your goodness. I trust your mercy is upon me as I wait upon you. My hope is in you lord, and I trust in your promises. I will wait with patience knowing you will arrive on time to meet my deepest needs. In Jesus name, amen.
