Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear God, thank You for providing me with guidance. Some days I find myself being affected by what others say and do. I turn on the news and become saddened by the hate and devastation going on in the world. I check my phone and become disappointed by canceled plans or discouraging comments. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on You when I become troubled by others’ words and actions. Allow my heart to stand firm in my faith when conflicting behaviors surround me. Help guide me with Your Word to carry me through these diversions. Amen.
