Today’s prayer
Written prayer"Dear Lord,
You are my rest and my refuge. When the night comes and the sun’s light has faded, thoughts of anxiety often come to steal my peace. Fear of the future and regret from the past consume my mind like a storm. Save me, O Lord, from every thought that seeks to steal my peace in You. Give me rest in Your saving grace. Reassure me of Your mercy that awaits me in the morning. Though the day has had its burdens, and tomorrow will have new challenges, I have confidence in Your ability to sustain me. Deliver me from anxiety, and help me to sleep peacefully. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. "
