The prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, thank You for being the ultimate example of humility by humbling Yourself on earth. I pray that I would walk in that example, not striving after status or recognition but humbly propping up others above myself. When my pride presses against me, I pray Your Spirit will push back and keep me humble. Give me opportunities to practice humility, and put others in my path to serve. Thank You for Your service to me on the cross, and Your continual service through Your Spirit.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
