Written prayerDear Lord, Obedience is often harder than we want to admit. Our hearts struggle with pride, comfort, and the desire to stay in control. Yet You remind us that true obedience flows from love, not obligation. Teach us to trust that Your commands are not meant to restrict us, but to lead us into life, peace, and joy. When our will collides with Yours, help us surrender. Give us the courage to follow Your ways, even when they challenge us, and the humility to yield when we resist. Shape our hearts so that obedience becomes an expression of love, grounded in gratitude for all You have done. May our lives reflect that love in the choices we make, the paths we take, and the way we treat those around us. Let our obedience be a light that points others to Your grace. Amen.
