Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord sometimes my head feels like it will explode from all the shouting, yelling, traffic, chaos, and noise surrounding me. The pressure and pounding give me a headache. Some people need sound to distract them from their thoughts but not me. I want you to lead me beside the still waters and restore my soul. I delight when you cause me to rest in green valleys that are peaceful and quiet. I've learned to relax in your love, and luxuriate in your peace. It is my safe place of sanctuary. I meet you in our quiet place, and you commune with me there. This is where I find my sweet spot with you. Amen.
