Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord Jesus, You modeled perfect submission on the cross. You gave Yourself over to the will of the Father, and accomplished great things as a result. Teach us to submit to You first and foremost, as Your church, that we may share in Your victory. We also pray for those godly marriages seeking to reflect Your character. Grant everyone mutual submission, respect, and honor for each other as onto You. Empower wives to prop up their husbands, even when they don’t seem worthy of it at the time. Guide husbands to love and nurture their wives, even when they’d prefer to be harsh or neglecting. In all things, have Your way among us! Humble and guide us, Lord Jesus. In Your name, we pray, Amen.
