Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, You are powerful, courageous, and worthy to be feared by all. Yet for all Your power and splendor, You do not harm us or put us to shame. You use Your power to move hearts and redeem souls. This is the essence of meekness – strength under control. When I am in conflict or find myself in tension with others, I pray You would direct my strength towards building instead of breaking and defending instead of harming. Make me a powerful force for good in people’s lives.
