Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, show me how to live your word, and not just talk about it. The sin of omission (not doing something) is just as much a sin as the sins overtly committed. It’s easy to make excuses when I don’t want to do something that might take me out of my comfort zone or require a little too much effort on my part. Failure to act is, in itself, an act. Lord, you want to live your life through me. Encourage me to seek your will each day for what it is you would have me do. Help me be a quick responder to the impression you put on my heart and go where you lead me. Amen.
