Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, you spoke to the earth and it brought forth fruit trees and plants. Life sprang up all around filling the earth with lush green grass and delicious fruit. Your words are powerful and bring forth life in all forms because you are the source of all life and creativity. You spoke the earth into existence and created it with the ability to self sustain. Everything you create has the seeds of new life and is designed to reproduce from generation to generation. As I meditate on the wonder of your amazing universe I marvel at your intricate attention to detail. The beauty and grandeur of your masterful creation reflects the majesty of your loving kindness. I ponder your genius and infinite wisdom and I’m humbled that such a magnificent God calls me his child. When I accepted you as my savior you planted your eternal seed of greatness into my heart. As that seed of life takes root and grows more of your love will be reflected through me. Show me how to reproduce your love for others so they might hunger to receive the amazing gift of eternal life in their hearts. Help me multiply my seed as I scatter it wherever I go, in Jesus name, Amen.
