Morning Prayer on Romans 5:8-10

But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God’s wrath through him. For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.

The prayer

Written prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, today I want to give you praise for the eternal salvation you have given me. It is a free gift that came at a great cost to You. My life was bought at a high price, and now I have new life because of you. I am a new creation in You, born of your Spirit. Have patience with me when the old ways of the flesh rear their ugly head. Empower me every day to value myself and others the same way you do. Thank you for Your love and the great salvation You have brought me. In Your name, Amen.
