Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, Give me the resolve to stand for what’s right in a world that is tempted to do wrong. Give me ears to hear Your instructions on how I am supposed to build my life, my family, my business and my relationships. Like Noah I will build to the specifications that You’ve given me. I will not live as a carbon copy when You’ve called me to build my life in originality. As I build on Your promises thank You in advance that when the storms come I will be protected and safe until You place me on dry ground in my new promised land. Through the life of Noah I am choosing to rest on the fact that even though evil abounds I know that the promises of God still prevail. Therefore, I will not be afraid to stand for righteousness and to be different from the crowd, for I now know that it is my difference that creates my rewards. Thank You for protection and for always guiding me to safety.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
