Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, I can't imagine what the young virgin, Mary, felt like when you encountered her with such a frightening but glorious truth. For her to carry the divinely begotten Son of God inside her womb must have been astonishing. Immanuel means God with us and is now the hope of Glory that lives in me. When I accepted Jesus into my life, I received the spiritual seed of God's nature, and he planted his kingdom in my heart. I carry the life of Christ in me too. Never let me take that for granted Lord. Help me treasure that reality. God is with me and will never leave me. You live inside my heart. We are one for eternity. Amen.
