The prayer
Written prayerHallelujah!! I praise your holy name. You are risen from the dead and alive forevermore!! In your death you walked into hell and snatched the keys to death out of Satan's hand and broke the curse that Adam brought into this world. So by one man we suffered death and one man, Jesus Christ, redeemed us. When you burst forth from the grave in all your power and majesty you won the victory that no man could accomplish. You defeated the power of the enemy and set me free from the bondage to sin and death. Glory to the one true living God, my lord Jesus Christ! Through your resurrection you demonstrated what I have to look forward to - eternal life. You live inside each one who has asked you to be the Lord of their lives. When I surrendered to your lordship I became a member of your family. You are the proof of my immortality. I trust that as you rose from the grave I have nothing to fear for I too will follow you when my time comes. You are the gift of life that gives me strength to face this life. Your resurrection is the pledge of eternal life for all of us who believe. In Jesus name, amen.
