Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, when I am brought low by the burdens of the world, You are faithful to restore me and lift me out of the dust. Carry me on Your wings and bring me to rest and peace. You promise to raise people experiencing poverty and provide for people in need. Lord, I come to You tonight poor in Spirit. My cup is empty and in need of filling. My soul requires uplifting. May today’s burdens be cast behind me as I look forward to a new day. Fill me anew and raise my Spirit from the ash and dirt. Place me down in green pastures and provide me with reprieve. In Jesus’ name, I pray and believe, Amen.
