Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, my soul is dried with the dust of the world. The dryness of life's stress and pressures have drained my joy and left me empty. Everyone is rushing around to ready themselves with presents for Christmas, but I thirst Lord, for your Holy Spirit to fill me to overflowing. Refresh me with the living water of your Word. Thank you, Jesus, that you know the cry of my heart and have come to be my fountain of life so I might never thirst again. Thank you for this beautiful season of joy and celebration for the gift of life through Jesus. You are my wonderful Lord and kind savior. Amen.
