Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, we come with hearts that so easily wander. Like Israel, we trust what we can see and control, forgetting that you alone are our source and our strength. Forgive us for choosing comfort or power over your leadership. Teach us to trust you again. Give us wisdom to recognize the false kings we’ve set up in our lives and the courage to release them. Help us rest in the truth that you lead with justice, compassion, and unfailing love. Shape our desires so that we long for you above all else. And when we stumble, remind us that your grace is always enough to carry us back. We lift this prayer to you, our true and eternal King. Amen.
