Dear Lord, I know that every day there is a choice. Who will I serve? Will I serve mammon - the culture of the age that tells me I need to buy more to be more? Or do I serve Your kingdom – the culture of heaven that tells me I am valuable as I am because of Your love for me? The choice, in theory, seems simple. Yet my heart tends to stray toward mammon. Keep me close to You, Lord. Remind me every day that You are a far greater master, and worth serving with my entire heart!

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
