Evening Prayer on Ephesians 4:24

Dear Lord, You have given us the strength to truly change our lives. We can no longer cling to the old person who strayed from Your path, but must put away that part of us and become new. Help us to embrace spiritual fitness, as we strive daily for endurance in pursuing Your will. Grant us the courage to put on the new self and live our lives humbly before You. May we become transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that our actions will honor You and show Your light to those around us. Through this transformation, help us to recognize our own weaknesses and rely on You for strength. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.
