Kash Patel's Journey and Commitment to Law Enforcement 0:00 When president Trump informed me of his intention to nominate me as a director of the FBI, I was deeply honored. Sitting here today, I carry not only the dreams of my parents, but also the hopes of millions of0:12 Americans who stand for justice, fairness, and the rule of law.0:53 When... At your confirmation hearing, you had your family out there with you. And, one of my favorite things about it was you talking about your childhood and how that sort of inspired you to be where you are today both1:04 in terms of your your values, your family values, your faith values, but then also your constitutional values. I wanna go and then go back to your your backstory about how you came came into this position, going back to1:14 the early days and and why that is still a core of who you are.1:17 My best laid plans. Right? You know? You know, I'm here singularly because of cops. I grew up in New York, son of immigrants, who's, you know... My parents fled a genocidal1:29 dictatorship, lawfully immigrated to the United States of America. And we were protected and secure in our education and our family, had a safe neighborhood because of police. And, you know, just never1:41 forgot that. And what we're trying to do here is take that American dream that I'm living, literally, their kids now, the director of the FBI, can't happen anywhere else in the world. And we gotta give1:53 it back to everybody. We gotta give it back to... So everybody who has a family, who's got a kid, can go out there and and do that. And the only way that's possible, the only way, is through law enforcement safeguarding
2:05 everyone, not just this sector of the community or of the economy or what have you. And that's what police do. They do it every day. They barely get recognized for it in this media. And what I'm doing is showing off
2:16 their work because it's their work. And they're... They are doing it at at speed and levels that have not been even discussed by the fake news media. They're getting it done on top of the attacks,
2:28 and that's what energizes me. When we go out there and we see the the agents and the cops and the sheriffs doing the work, I'm like, they're doing it. They're getting it done. Are taking advantages of the loopholes and
2:39 the lack of enforcement by the prior administration to fleece our senior citizens of their valuable life savings, and they are doing it in a sophisticated manner. These individuals, pursuant to the New York field
2:51 office's investigation that was began a few years ago, started call centers. The funds they utilized and they scammed out of these call centers from senior citizens from across America
3:03 totaled over four hundred million dollars.
The Drive to Serve and Historic Results Under Trump
3:09 You had a pretty big audience before you came into this role. You had people who who loved you, people who admired you. You still do. You could go make massive amounts of money doing anything but a job that's probably
3:20 going to prematurely age you based on the stress. Yeah. So why? Why do you still do what you do? Tell me about what what drives you from a a service perspective.
3:31 Well, that's just it. You know, when you sign up to serve, this is what year eighteen for me in total. You're driven by the desire to deliver the results you want to see happen in society.
3:43 And everybody that wears a badge out there does the exact same thing. So the drive is no different for for me. You know, the money, whatever, you know, maybe it'll come on the back end, maybe it won't. Who cares? Who
3:55 else gets to do this? You know? Like, being a cop, being an agent, being a sheriff, being a tribal law enforcement officer, I mean, to me, it's the best it's the best job in the world. And I know that
4:06 because of what we're achieving together is making a difference and driving us together. But I also know that because every good TV show or series out there is about us,
4:19 and they wouldn't be trying to copy us if they didn't wanna be us. And so that in of itself says we're getting it done. We got more to do. We got... We, you know, we got... Always got more to do. But with president
4:30 Trump's backing, we've been able to do in fourteen, fifteen months what this place, being DC, had been talking about for decades. And the fact that he delivered it, these results that we talked about, I think they
4:42 hate him for it because he did what they said they would do and never got done. President Trump, thank you for backing law enforcement. Thank you for funding law enforcement.
4:54 Thank you for loving law enforcement. Thank you for relentlessly pursuing the mission of justice with the warriors of justice across this country. The men and women of law enforcement love you, and that is why we are
5:05 seeing these historic results around the country to include a twenty percent drop in the national homicide rate, to include a twenty percent reduction in drug overdose deaths, to include violent offenders seized from
5:17 around the world. This FBI has led the charge to arrest eight of the top ten most wanted fugitives on planet Earth in the last sixteen months under president Trump.
5:28 Under the previous administration, we saw we saw a really big disconnect between local and state law enforcement and the FBI. We saw a lot of, boots on the ground who said, I don't trust the FBI anymore. And and you've
Rebuilding Trust and Prioritizing Public Safety
5:40 transformed that. When your name comes out of the mouths of officers on on the street now with the local and state level, it is nothing but praise. It is nothing but gratitude to president Trump for putting you in this
5:50 position for the support that you bring them. What message do you have for them?
5:55 I guess two things. It ain't about me, never will be. Time will long hopefully forget me, but hopefully time won't forget the law enforcement community we built. When I got here, I said, we are
6:07 going back to prioritizing our relationship with law enforcement. We cannot do it alone. It doesn't happen, not just at the federal level I mean, but at the state and local level. We have got... So that I sent my SACs
6:18 out to the field. We cleared the leadership headshot here at headquarters. We're placing every... Nearly every one of our field leaders. And I said, you guys have always wanted the power, now it's yours. Go out there and
6:28 get those relationships back in check. Go out there and show them that we are going to stand behind them and not ask them to do something that endangers their life and not show up to support them. And I think that
6:38 messaging is hard to write down on paper and sort of capture and show off to the world. But I think what you said resonates with me the most. When we go out to the field, when we're out there talking to our partners,
6:50 they're saying that. They're saying the change that, is occurring now under this administration was one they've been waiting for ten, fifteen plus years for, and that tells me again that we're we're we're going in
7:02 the right direction. And the reason that this mission is so important is simply the following. A hundred thousand people last year raped. A hundred thousand people
7:14 died of CCP, fentanyl overdose, and heroin. Seventeen thousand homicides. Violent crime is out of control. We cannot have a United
7:26 States of America where that is acceptable, where someone dies every every thirty minutes, where someone ODs every seven, where someone's raped every six. That cannot be allowed
7:38 to continue, and it will not be allowed to continue. Our national security mission is equally as important. Anyone that wishes to do harm to our way of life and our citizens here or abroad will
7:49 face the full wrath of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. And if you seek to hide in any corner of this country or any corner of this planet, we will put on the world's largest manhunt and
8:00 we will find you, and we will decide your end state, not you. We will uphold the constitution. We will uphold ourselves to the constitution. The men and women at the FBI, I
8:12 have your back because you have the backs of the American people. You will have... You will be held to the same high standard. Any deviation from that standard will not be tolerated at this Federal Bureau of
8:24 Investigation. The men and women at the FBI who make us safe deserve better, and they are going to get it with our leadership and your support, God bless America, and God bless every one of you. I
8:35 love this country. America, you should take a look. You should take a look at what leadership from the White House and the president Trump's
Leadership in Combating Fraud and Crime Statistics
8:48 prioritization to go after and combat fraud looks like. America should take a look at the vice president's task force and the initiative by the justice department here under AG Todd Blanche and AAG Colin McDonald.
9:00 Fraud is no longer being tolerated, is not being put up with, and you've seen the staggering numbers that in just the last two weeks... That's all we're here to talk about today. It's just the last two weeks of fraud of
9:10 perpetrators and criminals who have been arrested and apprehended from around the world, totaling over six and seven billion dollars in fraud, in money stolen from the American people. Our precious taxpayer dollars that
9:22 are supposed to service our seniors and our kids were being stolen outright, by individuals who thought they could get away with it. But thanks to the Trump administration and the vice president's task force and the
9:32 White House task force and department of justice's courageous prosecutors, we have now been able to charge a record number of individuals. This is what real leadership looks like at the FBI. Every one of you
9:44 was given it. This is what's happened under my tenure at the FBI and the Trump administration. Twenty point drop in the homicide rate. Forty five thousand violent offenders arrested last year, twice as many as twenty
9:55 twenty four. Twenty four hundred and fifty criminal gangs disrupted. That's a three hundred and twenty two percent increase from twenty twenty four. Sixty nine hundred child victims have been located since I've been in
10:05 the seat. That's a hundred and forty four percent increase. Twenty nine hundred child predators and human traffickers arrested. That's a seventy percent increase. And we've arrested eight of the top ten most wanted
10:15 fugitives in the world in fourteen months. That's twice as many in the four years combined. That is what the men and women in the FBI are doing, well resourced. Everyone should take a look at this. If people wanna
10:25 continue the baseless, fraudulent, false personal attacks at me, that's great. Keep the target on me as I've always said, but the mission has never been better.
10:35 My name is Matthew Silverman. I'm the national president for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association. We're representing approximately a hundred and forty thousand federal agents worldwide, including our thirty
10:44 five thousand dues paying members. I wanna thank John Adler, who is the FOLIOA Foundation national president, for supporting our law enforcement officers who are in need. Please visit us at FLEO dot org and
