- 433Love is DisarmingThis is the sixth message in our series "Love is the Greatest" from 1 Corinthians 13. We come to the line "love is not provoked, thinks no evil." The Corinthian church, much like us today, struggled to treat each other with love and kindness. They were provoking one another and were constantly thinking the worst about others. The solution for both them and us is to allow yourself to be vulnerable with others. It will cause both you and them to disarm and stop jabbing at one another. Are you, in love, being vulnerable with those around you? Do you cause people to relax or tense up with your words, actions, and attitude? Are you saved?
- 434Love is MaturingThis is the fifth message in our series "Love is the Greatest" from 1 Corinthians 13. In this message, we come to the phrase "love is not rude, does not seek its own." When you love someone, you treat them with dignity and respect. to do anything less is immature and unloving. In our spiritual lives, our maturity isn't marked by how much we know about God or the Bible, but rather by the way we treat others. Are you spiritually mature? Are you treating others with dignity and respect? Are you saved?
- 435Love is ServingWe are still in our series from 1 Corinthians 13 titled "Love is the Greatest." In this message, we come to the statement "Love does not behave rudely, is not puffed up." When you love someone, you don't spend time telling them how wonderful you are or sitting back and looking down on them. You look for ways to meet the needs of others and serve them in Jesus' name. Are you prideful? Do understand the way that God served us through sending His Son? Are you saved?
- 436Love is CheeringWe continue our series "Love is the Greatest" by looking at the next line in Paul's discourse on love from 1 Corinthians 13. "Love does not envy" means that in love, you are genuinely happy at the success of others. Instead, most of us are bitten by the green-eyed monster and we sinfully desire what others have, from their lifestyle to their family and more. Are you cheering others on with the love of Christ? Do you understand how much God loves you? Are you saved?
- 437VictoryIn our first message, we learned that Hosanna means “God Save Us.” But, there is another meaning that developed for Hosanna and that is “Victory.” In fact, that’s the title of our message today. Here’s the gist of the message: There is no victory without sacrifice. First the cross and then the crown. It’s the crucified life that is the victorious life.

In raising Lazarus, Jesus demonstrates his power over death and his authority as our Shepard. Death is inevitable. Death is inescapable. Where will you go when you die? Jesus has not only brought us forgiveness of sin but he has also taken the sting out of death. The grave no longer has power over us. Have you received Him as your Savior?
- 440The Eye-OpenerJesus heals the sick and restores sight to the blind. When we think about this we think of the physical side of the miracles. Never do we stop to ponder that we are actually more blind than some people with physical blindness. Spiritually, all are blind until Jesus restores us. In this sermon, we see how Jesus not only heals physical disabilities but also our spiritual disability. Do you have your spiritual eyes or are you still spiritually blind? When you come to Jesus he opens your spiritual eyes and you begin to see the work of God for yourself. Have you ever been to Jesus yet? Has he opened your spiritual eyes? Are you saved?

Believers and nonbelievers know the story of how Jesus walked on the water, but not all understand the meaning and the reason behind the miracles. As we continue our Sunday morning study on miracles, in this sermon we take an in-depth look at why Jesus walked on water. Jesus used this miracle to defy the disciple's fears, and he can do the same for you. What are you afraid of? Have you ever met Jesus? He’s the great fear-defier. - 444Raising OvercomersAs our series on the family is almost over we look into the life of Joseph. Joseph was favored over his brothers by his father. His brothers hated him because of this. They made a plan to get back at him for being the favorite. They sold him into slavery and he eventually ended up in Egypt where he faced trails all while overcoming them. Most of all he always gave the glory to God. How can you raise an overcomer? Are you saved? Are your kids saved? Before they can be overcomers, they have to be overcome by the gospel.
- 445Parents Behaving BadlyAs we journey in our series on the family, Pastor Shah shows us in this message how parents can behave in a ungodly way. In this message we focus on the life of Judah. He was one of Jacob's sons but he did not have a zeal for the Lord like his father. He made some bad parenting decisions and eventually slept with his daughter-in-law. This message directed towards the kids tells who they should act in the face of this bad parenting. How are your parents? Do you look up to them or do you shake your head at them? Do you admire them or are you ashamed of them? Some of you may not need this message but others know very well what I am talking about and it is very painful for you. Do your parents know Christ as their Savior? Do you?
- 446Too Old For Time OutAs we continue in our series on the family of Genesis, we come to the account of Dinah and Shechem and the revenge of her brothers, Simeon and Levi. In their minds, they were avenging their sister's honor. However, their actions made life difficult for Jacob and reflected very poorly on their family. It's tough to know how to respond to grown children when they do things that make us look bad. Discipline is a non-negotiable, but we need to remember that God is ultimately the one who disciplines both us and our children. Are your kids too old for time out? Are you struggling with how to discipline them? Are you saved?
- 447Facing Old FoesIn this message, we come to the narrative of Jacob's reunion with Esau. Jacob was expecting conflict with his brother because Esau made it known that once their father Isaac was dead, Jacob would be next. However, God meets and wrestles with Jacob to weaken and humble him before his encounter with Esau. We need to be willing to let God weaken us so that He can resolve the conflicts in our lives and our relationships. Are you willing to be broken so that God can work in your relationships? Do you have old foes that you need to face? Are you saved?
- 448Resolving Family ConflictWe are continuing in our series titled "The Family: Some Dos, Some Don'ts, and Some Who Knows" and we come to the story of Jacob and his uncle, Laban. Laban and Jacob experienced conflict in that Laban was treating Jacob unfairly in making him work to marry Rachel for seven years, and then tricking him into marrying Leah first. He then had to work another seven years for Rachel. The most pronounced aspect of this narrative, however, is its humorous tone. We need to remember that God has a sense of humor and maintain one ourselves, especially when handling conflict. We should also try to keep God's will for our lives in focus and not be distracted by family drama. Is there conflict in your family? How are you handling it? Are you saved?
- 449Train Up a ChildAs we continue in our series titled "The Family: Some Dos, Some Don'ts, and Some Who Knows," we come to lives of Esau and Jacob, twin boys who probably couldn't be more different. Their parents, Isaac and Rebekah, also raised the boys very differently, with Issac encouraging Esau to pursue hunting while Rebekah nurtured Jacob's spiritual side. Do you understand your responsibility to train up the children in your life? Are you walking in the right way? Are you saved?
- 450Keeping Your Kids out of HellWe come to the third message in our series "The Family: Some Dos, Some Don'ts, and Some Who Knows" from Genesis. In this message, we are comparing Abraham and Lot and the way these two men led their families. Abraham's family is blessed by God while Lot leads his family into Sodom and suffers greatly because of the city's wickedness. Lot was a coattail hanger on the faith of his uncle, Abraham. Are you actively leading your children to Christ or are you a coattail hanger on someone else's faith? Are you saved?
- 451Skeletons in the Family ClosetThis is the second message in our series titled "The Family: Some Dos, Some Dont's, and Some Who Knows." In this message, we take a look at three "skeletons" in the family closet of Abraham. Abraham lies about his wife not once but twice, saying she is his sister. His son, Isaac, does the same thing with his wife, Rebekah. Interestingly, God never condemns Abraham or Isaac. Just because you have things in your past that you aren't proud of, that doesn't mean you are disqualified from being used by God. God still blesses our families, often in spite of our mistakes. Are there skeletons in your family closet? Do you understand that God blesses us out of His mercy, not our righteousness? Are you saved?
- 452Becoming a Chain BreakerThis is the first message in our new series on marriage, parenting, and family from the book of Genesis. The series is titled "The Family: Some Dos, Some Don'ts, and Some Who Knows." In this first message, we are looking at Abraham and his father, Terah. Both of these men were called by God to leave their homelands and their worship of false gods. Terah only partially obeys, but Abraham is the one who breaks the chains of unrighteousness in his family. Is there someone in your family tree that made a conscious decision to follow God? If not, will you be that chain breaker for your family? Are you saved?
- 453Adopted FatherAdoption is that process where after God declares us righteous through Jesus Christ that he welcomes us into his family as his sons and daughters. He lays down his gavel as our judge and comes around to embrace us as our adopted father. Now, he wants us to go out and do the same to those who need an adopted father.
- 454Discipleship 2: AccountableThroughout the Bible, there are many examples of accountability. The Disciples were always placed into groups of two to five in order to remain accountable. A mark of a true disciple is accountability in their life. Both with the twelve disciples and then with the seventy disciples, Jesus sent them out two by two. He paired them up, among other reasons, to hold each other accountable. If you are a disciple, who do you have in your life who holds you accountable? Who is willing to question your bad behavior and encourage your good behavior? No accountability is equal to no guardrails down the steep mountain of life. It’s a matter of time. Are you a disciple? Are you saved?
- 455The JourneyLife is a journey full of choices. Unfortunately, poor choices can lead to years of regret and pain. But, God can use even our failures to work all things together for good if we let him. How do you see your life's journey? Which stage are you in? Repercussion, Regrouping, Rerouting, or Reentry. Are you saved? Is Christ in your journey?
- 456GuardianGod's guardian presence is still with his people. It is not up in a cloud somewhere but in the heart of every believer through the Holy Spirit. It is the presence of Christ, guarding, guiding, and speaking to us. Christ is our true guardian through the journey of life. Can you see Jesus? Can you sense His guarding and guiding presence? Can you hear His voice? Only through the Holy Spirit, you can. He only comes into our lives when we receive Jesus as our Savior and King. Are you saved?
