The Year of Jubilee and America's 250th Anniversary 0:00 What if America's 250th year anniversary isn't something that we're supposed to celebrate? What if it's a moment for us to return? In the book of Leviticus, God establishes something extraordinary. It's called the0:12 year of jubilee. And every 50 years, a trumpet would sound and everything that was lost would be brought back. Lands would be returned and family homes and children that were sold into slavery and prisoners that were0:24 there because of debt, all returned. It was a reminder from God that said, all of this belongs to me. 250 years, 5 cycles of 50 is what we're0:35 currently in, 1 of the biggest jubilees we've ever seen. Throughout scripture, when God's people come together, King Josaphat, when a massive army comes, he didn't he didn't call an army to fight. He called all of hisBiblical Examples of Prayer and Restoration 0:47 people to gather on the wall and kneel and to pray. And Nehemiah, when he heard about the walls of Jerusalem, he didn't grab a hammer. He got on his knees and he prayed. And in both incidences,0:58 this 1 cry, this this this 1 prayer created this frequency in heaven, and God came down and the wall shook, and everything was restored to the glory of1:10 God. I believe this is what God is asking us to do to his church today. For 52 days, believers from around the globe will pray and they will fast for this nation.
