If you feel like your life is falling apart, this story is for you. Read Luke 8:40–48 This poor woman had been in poor health for 12 years.This young girl, who was sick and near death, was 12 years old. Luke 8:41 (NLT)[Jairus] came and fell at Jesus' feet, pleading with Him to come home with him. We all should want Jesus to come home with us. Parents: the best thing you can do is get your children to Jesus. Be faithful. Be consistent. Be present. Deuteronomy 6:6–7 (NLT)And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Every young person is looking for three things:a place to belong,a purpose to live for,and to be loved. Jairus had great faith in Christ. Then this woman burst on the scene.How easily Jairus could have resented this intrusion. Jesus is never late. He is always on time. This woman had been sick for 12 long years with no hope for a cure.
