- 265The Story of an Unlikely Convert w/Rosaria ButterfieldIn today's episode, we hear the story of an unlikely convert—Rosaria Butterfield. Rosaria was a tenured women’s studies Professor at Syracuse University who adopted a lesbian identity. In 1997, she began reading the Bible as research for a book she planned to write. After reading large portions of Scripture and being invited into the home of a pastor where her questions were welcomed and answered, Rosaria converted to Christianity in 1999. In this episode, she shares her story of coming to Christ and how that resulted in her losing almost everything—but gaining eternal life in Christ. - 267When You Feel MisunderstoodHave you ever felt misunderstood? There can be something so frustrating when you do not feel heard or understood. In today’s conversation, Shelby and Krystal discuss when we as women are most tempted to feel misunderstood as well as the responses that often come out of feeling that way. We can sometimes dismiss the “respectable” sins such as pride but Scripture is clear to point us toward away from pride and toward a humble posture.
