Exodus: The Purpose of the Tabernacle

This week we discussed the purpose for the Tabernacle so that we would understand the heart of God for His people. Often when reading the Old Testament some Christians are confused about the application of the text for today. As we studied the Tabernacle, we learned about all that God wanted to do to demonstrate His

holiness and His desire to dwell with His people. Having a proper understanding of the Tabernacle helps believers today to better comprehend God's purposes in our world today. The tabernacle also helps us understand the person and work of Jesus Christ in greater measure. The reality is that God loves us and wants to be present and central in our lives today.
