Alpha/Omega - Revelation: Only Christ

This week we studied Revelation 5 and learned four characteristics or qualities of Jesus Christ that made Him the only One worthy to open the scroll. In the midst of the beauty and majesty of the throne, Jesus Christ is seen looking like a lamb standing as if slain. This amazing picture of our Lord demonstrates His

love for us in purchasing us through His death on the cross. We also see the four living creatures and the 24 elders continuing to worship Him because He has purchased people from every tribe tongue and nation. All creation will ultimately understand that they were designed to give God our highest and best praise. As we live our lives we are encouraged to be prepared to worship Christ our King.
