The Spirit in Every Believer 0:00 We believe in Jesus, we worship Jesus, follow Jesus. No matter who you are, God gives you the spirit.0:13 Many of you here today believe in Jesus, know Jesus, have Jesus in your heart. I have to tell you 1 thing. You would not have faith in Jesus if the spirit was0:25 not in you. Not possible. What I say would not touch your heart if the spirit is not in you. Our faith itself, my belief itself is a result, the creation0:37 of the spirit of God, not me. I am here because soon after I decided to follow Jesus and believe in him in the way I believe in him now,0:50 I got the spirit. And the friend who is to be my friend, is still my friend, he he said, do you talk to the spirit? I said, what spirit? The spirit of Jesus who is1:02 in you. Oh, can I talk to him? Yes. You can talk to him. So I began to talk to him because I realized for the 1st time, the spirit of Jesus is in me. Please understand this. Some of us,1:14 when we receive the spirit or get full with the spirit at any given time, may have a tremendous, almost physical experience. We may feel the spirit1:26 overtake our body, our emotions, or we may lie down flat on the floor where you pray, or you may, like some people, go unconscious for a period of time. It1:38 happens in different ways to different people. But if you believe in Jesus, you worship Jesus, follow Jesus, no matter who you are, what religion you are, how young you are, God gives you the spirit. That's why1:50 you don't have to work to get the Holy Spirit. Yes. You may need to wait for a special prayer and unction of the Holy Spirit. You may need to wait and pray or2:02 fast or spend days together. That is required. But if you if you follow Jesus, if you believe Jesus, the spirit is in you. And Paul says in Romans 8, if the2:14 spirit is not in you, you don't belong to Christ. It is the spirit that tells us we belong to God. It's very powerful. It's the spirit. It's the holy spirit. My words are just2:26 words. He who speaks into your heart and mind now while I speak is the spirit of God.In this video 0:00 The Spirit in Every Believer
