Kelly is a human trafficking survivor, pastor, and author from Rapid City, South Dakota and was a child when traffickers targeted her in her South Dakota hometown. She became the victim of "a grooming process" that trapped her in a life of sexual exploitation until she was almost 22. Kelly is one of the estimated 1 percent of trafficking victims who escaped and survived. In our conversation, she shares how she became a victim, the horror of being a trafficking victim, and how by God's grace she was able to escape from her circumstances. She also shares how God supernaturally intervened to help her heal and to move forward in her life to be the wife, mother, pastor, author, speaker, and human trafficking advocate she is today.
