Be Ready: Yeshua Comes Soon 0:00 If Yeshua came back 60 seconds from now with you and I, dear 1, be ready.0:15 I wanna speak to you from my heart right now. That doesn't mean that I don't speak to you from my heart all the time, because I always pray before I minister, and that's all I wanna do is let the Spirit run through me0:24 like a river. But I'm wanting to really connect with you in a very deep way about something that's a life and death matter for all of us. I'm standing right now on the Mount of Olives.0:36 Now in the book of Acts, when Yeshua rose from the planet and disappeared up into the clouds, the angel said, men, why are you looking up into the sky?0:48 This Jesus that you've just watched disappear, he's gonna come back to you in the same way. So the last thing that Jesus said in the Book of Revelation1:00 was, behold, I come quickly. And the last voice that the disciples heard from the angels as they saw Jesus disappear into the clouds from the angels was, Jesus is gonna come back from you. He's1:12 gonna descend from the sky in just the same manner that you watched him rise up into the sky. I want you to hear me, my friends. You and I need to be ready for Jesus' return. We're1:24 living, my friends, beloved brothers and sisters, in the end of the age. And we can't just coast through. We have to be ready. Even as the Lord told1:36 Israel in the book of Exodus chapter 19, to consecrate themselves, to wash themselves, and to, get this now, be ready1:47 to meet God in the same way Yeshua told us to be ready because Yahweh is gonna once again descend from the clouds in fire just
1:59 like he did at Mount Sinai through the person of his son. And if you and I aren't ready, we're gonna be left behind. This is why Yeshua told us the parable of the 10 virgins. I want you to think about this. I'm getting
2:11 ready to close, but I want you to think about this. Yeshua gave us the parable about the 10 virgins to prepare us for his return. Now think about this. All 10 of the virgins in the
2:23 parable, listen now, believed. They were all waiting for the return of the bridegroom. Of course, the bridegroom in that parable is a shadow or symbol of Jesus. They all 10
2:35 believed, but only 5 of the 10 were actively preparing themselves for his return. The others believed, but they weren't doing anything. The other 5 kept their lamp burning.
2:47 They kept their prayer life burning. They kept their devotion. They kept praying. When the bridegroom did return, the 5 that believed now this might be hitting you on the head
2:58 right now. The 5 that believed but weren't doing anything, they weren't engaged in God's word. They didn't have a devotional life. They weren't in fellowship with other believers.
3:10 They believed, but they weren't doing anything actively to pursue the Lord, to make a difference in the earth, to share the gospel. When the bridegroom came, you know what? They couldn't enter in. It was only the 5 that
3:22 kept the lamp burning that were able to enter in. And the 5 that believed that weren't ready, it was too late. They said, oh, let us go get ready now. It's too late, the door was shut. Jesus is getting ready to come
3:33 back. We are now in the season of the Feast of Trumpets. It's to this mountain right here behind me, the Mount of Olives, that Yeshua's glory will 1st hit the earth at his return. It's gonna happen, get this now,
3:46 sooner than you or I realize. We think that because he hasn't returned yet, he's not likely to return today. You don't know. Jesus said no man knows the day or
3:58 the hour, and what it's, when it, what it's gonna be like is that men are gonna be eating and drinking and partying and giving in marriage and doing business. No one's expecting then bam, he's gonna come like a thief in
4:09 the knife. Jesus could come today. I want to challenge you and warn you as we are now in this Feast of Trumpet season, get down on your knees if you're not
4:21 ready. Ask the Lord to consecrate you, to wash you, and to sanctify you. Ask him to give you a heart filled with power and love for him in Yeshua's name,
4:33 so that you will be ready to meet the bridegroom at His soon return. And I want you now as we close, just put your hand over your heart and just repeat this together with me. Let's say this,
4:45 Jesus is coming back for me. Just say it with me, put your hand over your heart and say, Jesus is coming back
4:57 for me. He's coming back soon, and he's coming back for those that are his. Will you be ready?
Feast of Trumpets: A Divine Reminder
5:09 If Yeshua came back 60 seconds from now, would you and I, dear 1, be ready? We need to live with a constant
5:21 awareness that we are going to meet the Lord. And during this season that we're in right now, the Feast of Trumpets, which Jewish people call Rosh Hashanah, meaning the head of the
5:32 year, it is given to us by the Lord to be a reminder that we are going to meet him, and we're gonna have to be ready to give an account for our lives.
5:45 Let's go to the Torah now, to the word of God, to the book of Leviticus. We're going to the 23rd chapter there, and let's see specifically what the Lord told us about this holy day and and this
5:57 season that we're now in. I'm beginning now in the 24th verse of Leviticus chapter 23. The grass withers and the flowers fade, beloved holy brothers and sisters, but God's word
6:09 abides and is applicable forever. Here is word. Speak to the sons of Israel saying, in the 7th month, on the 1st of the month, you shall have
6:21 a rest, now get this next phrase a reminder that's what I want you to catch a reminder by the blowing of
6:33 trumpets. And there's to be a holy convocation. Mysteriously, there's very little information given to us about this day that we called the feast of
6:45 trumpets or the day of blowing, or you've probably heard it referred to as Rosh Hashanah. It's all the same thing. Very little information is given to us in the Torah about it other than when
6:57 it takes place, which is the season that we're in right now, and that should be a day of blowing the trumpets to remind us. So to get a clue as to what we're to be reminded
7:09 of, we have to think about, well, what would the blowing of a trumpet remind Israel of? We have many things in the Hebrew scriptures, many, many events tied to the blowing of a
7:20 shofar. Israel would blow a shofar that when they were going to war. They would blow a shofar on the new moon. But the greatest example of a blowing of a shofar or
7:32 of a trumpet that we have in the entire word of God is at Mount Sinai. We know the story. God gathered His chosen ones to the base of the mountain
7:44 and told them to be prepared because in 3 days, Moses told Israel, you're going to meet God. And then on that 3rd day,
7:56 Israel came to the mountain. Why? To meet God. They had to be ready. They prepared themselves. And as they stood at the base of the mountain, the mountain started quaking.
8:08 Thunder started happening. There was fire coming from heaven. And then at the crescendo of all this intensity with the mountain quaking, with the trumpets blowing,
8:20 God then spoke and Israel met God. They were terrified. They encountered the power of
8:32 the living God. The trumpet blew and God spoke, and they broke under the power of the glory of God and hearing his voice. In fact, they said to Moses, Moses, we
8:44 can't take any more of this. You go up the mountain and speak with God and tell us what he said. It was a terrifying event in human history, and Israel has never forgotten it
8:55 because of the power that was released from heaven. And the power, beloved ones, was released with the blowing of a cosmic divine trumpet from heaven.
9:08 And so when we are celebrating now Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, what are we to be reminded of? That the trumpet is gonna blow from heaven once again,
9:20 and every man, woman, and child that's ever been created is going to meet God. Because at the blowing of the trumpet, the kingdom of God is
9:31 gonna break in just like it did at Sinai in the Mosaic Covenant 3500 years ago, so too when the trumpet sounds from heaven again, the Brit Chadasha, the New Testament
9:43 tells us at the last trumpet, the kingdom of the world is gonna be turned into the kingdom of God in the book of Revelation, and that Yeshua is gonna return with the blowing of the trumpet.
9:55 So what is this about? What is this season that we're in about? It's about God wanting to wake us up to the reality that you and I are gonna stand
10:07 before him. We're going to have to give an account for our lives, for every word that we've said, for every thought we've thunk, for every
10:19 action that we've done. And I'm only trying to help us become aware now for good that we withheld. Like, I love this word. It's called alacrity.
10:30 I'm gonna say it again. It was a new word for me. Alacrity. I I learned it when I was reading a rabbinic commentary. And what it means, what alacrity means is to run to do God's
10:42 will. It's not just to say, okay, I'll do it. It's not to do it under compulsion, but it's rather when God tells us to do something, we jump up without holding
10:54 anything back, giving him our full heart and our full devotion, running to do his will. That's how we get prepared to meet Jesus. By preparing ourself now, by waking ourself up,
Live with Alacrity and Repent
11:06 dying to ourself to run to do God's will. Like for me, if somebody says something to me, rather than just giving them 0.5, you know, 0.5 response by not really putting my emotion into
11:18 it, I want to give them my full love and put my emotion into it. I don't want to withhold love from people. And when we think about the greatest, the greatest is
11:30 love. So if you and I, beloved holy brothers and sisters, want to be prepared to meet Jesus, let's practice alacrity when it comes to our
11:42 love. Let's be quick to do God's will, to love Him and to love other people. When your spouse gets home, don't say, hey, honey. Say, hey, honey. How was your day?
11:54 When your wife reaches out to you or your husband reaches out to you, give them all your love. Don't hold anything back. Give them all your heart, strength, soul, and mind. And most of all, let's give it to God
12:06 and not hold anything back from him. This is a season of repentance as well. I want to encourage you as we're getting prepared, beloved, to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the feast of blowing, the
12:18 feast of trumpets, waking yourself up to the reality that we're gonna meet God. Become conscious of your heart. Pull every weed out, every evil intention,
12:30 every ill will, every thought of judgment and accusation towards others and even towards yourself. Pull it out. Pull it out. Do the hard work of
12:42 repentance. Repentance means to turn away from 1 thing and become devoted to follow God, to turn to Him. This is the season to shake the dust off us,
12:54 to shake off the spiritual dirt, and to rise up with passion to love Jesus, to run after Him, and to do His will. Because the truth is,
13:06 you and I are gonna meet him. We're gonna meet our creator. We're gonna meet the 1 that's beyond the clouds and beyond Mars and beyond
13:18 space. We're gonna meet the creator of it all. And beloved, if we'll prepare ourselves for that, there is a reward that's coming that you can't even begin
Called to Evangelize the Nations
13:30 to fathom. Today's the day we need to get ready. Shalom, holy brothers and sisters. In 19 88, I was in a
13:42 hospital waiting room at the Cleveland Clinic because my my wife's mom had had an aneurysm. Thank God. She just about fully recovered from it. But when I was standing in that waiting room, I heard the audible
13:53 voice of God. It was suddenly I was not expecting anything to happen. And the Spirit of the Lord said to me, you're an evangelist. It was clear as a bell. And when I heard him say that, I didn't even
14:05 really like it because I thought an evangelist was somebody that stood on street corners handing out gospel tracts. And I just didn't want to do that for the rest of my life. It's hard to tell you that's the truth. But
14:16 you know, as time went on, the Lord helped me understand what I mean by that is that I've called you to preach my word, the gospel to the end of the world. Jesus said, when the gospel is preached to
14:28 the end of the world, the end will come. I want to ask you to support me and support this ministry in doing what God's called us to do, preaching the gospel to the end of the globe, and in so doing we're preparing
14:40 the way, beloved ones, for Yeshua's return.
