Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, Give me the gift of Your grace, that I may be filled with kind words toward others. Let not my tongue sin against You by speaking harshness to those around me. You have commanded us to love each other as ourselves. Let me be a person of gentleness and humility, that I may be pleasing to You. May my words show grace and truth, for this reflects Your nature. Help me to use kind words in all situations, even when I am tired or stressed. Grant me the ability to speak graciously even when I don’t feel like it. Let my words be an encouragement and a blessing to those who hear them. In Jesus’s name I pray, Amen. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
