Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, how we long for the day when these words come to fruition when warfare and conflict are no more and peace reigns throughout the earth. We pray that you would raise us up to be peacemakers in our own lives. Reflecting your heart of reconciliation. May our words and actions foster understanding, compassion and unity rather than division and strife. As we wait the fulfillment of your promise, empower us to be instruments of peace in our homes, communities, and world. Let us work toward harmony and cooperation. Trusting your perfect plan and timing. We can't do any of these things in and of ourselves, but with your spirit empowering us daily. All things are possible. We pray these things and trust in the name of Jesus, the prince of peace. Amen.
