Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, Despite my noble desires to follow You faithfully, sometimes my flesh leads me to make the wrong decision. But You, oh Lord, are faithful to correct and comfort me when I am led astray. You offer me Your Spirit to guide and convict me. I pray that I would walk by the Spirit and starve the flesh of gratification. I pray that You would replace my selfish desires with holy ones – desires of love, patience, and service to others. I pray for Your continual grace when I stumble, and strength when I am weak.
