Holding six earned degrees, including a Ph.D. in historical theology, he is the author of 27 books and has completed approximately 1,800 media interviews on the application of Scripture to culture, politics, government, marriage, and current events. Widowed in 2013, he married Rosemary Schindler Garlow in 2015. Together they have eight children, 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
