## Written prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you that you have given me everything I need to be victorious in this life. You have given me your word to declare over my circumstances. Your promises are mine to encourage my soul, your heavenly language empowers your spirit within me, and the whole armour of God protects me from the assaults of the enemy. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but spiritual to the pulling down of the enemy's strongholds. I have the helmet of salvation to protect my mind from the lies of the enemy. I can bring every thought captive to the word of God and keep my mind focused on you. I have the breastplate of righteousness to protect my emotions. I know my righteousness is as filthy rags but I am covered in the righteousness of Christ and that allows me to stand before the enemy with his authority and power. I lift up the shield of faith to deflect the fiery darts of the enemy and I have the sword of the spirit which is the word of God to cut through all the deceitful plans of the enemy. I walk in the shoes of peace – Peace with God, peace with others, and peace within my soul. I dress myself each day before I enter the battle knowing I am fully protected whatever comes against me. Thank you for this wonderful armour that makes me a skilled warrior. In Jesus name, amen.
