## Written prayer

My God, I ask you to forgive me for yielding to the weakness of my flesh. When I am suffering my flesh accuses you of forsaking me and not helping me the way I expected. You promised to never forsake me, and you hear my slightest cries for help. Even when I don’t see you immediately moving on my behalf I need to remind myself that you are with me. You are working for my good. Help me hold on to the truth of your word and quiet my spirit when I feel abandoned. I refuse to allow my feelings to contradict the truth. You love me and will never leave me and I am never alone. Amen.
