## Written prayer

Dear Lord, today on this Good Friday, I am mindful of the sacrifice it took to redeem mankind. You forfeited the throne and exchanged it for a cross, all so I could be saved. That is a heavy truth that I will not easily forget. Keep your cross on my mind all day today. I want to feel the gravity of your work on that hill. Let it affect me deeply today, so I might fully experience Easter's joy.
