## Written prayer

Heavenly Father, you value loyalty and commitment and Ruth layed down her life for her mother in law. She was committed to honor her husband’s mother. There are not many with that kind of selflessness. Only you Lord can give that kind of grace and character to a life. I don’t think Ruth realized her commitment to Ruth was a commitment to the God Ruth served. Father, I want to have that kind of honor and commitment to you. Naomi was Ruth's representative of God but Jesus is our true representative of you Lord. I cling to him and never want to be parted from his presence. The good news is that as I cling to Jesus even death can not part us for he overcame death. Through his death on the cross he broke Satan's curse over my life and all those who accept that he paid the price for their sins. He has prepared a home for me in eternity where we will live together forever. What a glorious comfort to know I do not have to fear death for my God will be with me to resurrect me the same way he did his son Jesus. Thank you my wonderful savior, in Jesus name, amen.
