## Written prayer

Lord, your ways are the opposite of the ways of the world. The world clambers for power and prestige; pushing their way to the top to get ahead. Your word tells me that if I want to be first, I need to humble myself and serve others. I must chose to be last and let others go before me. You were the servant king, and modeled humility and a servants heart. You came to serve humanity not to be served. That’s the problem today; everyone wants someone else to make them happy. They are not looking for how they can serve others. Keep me humble Lord, and show me how to serve others as I go through my day. Amen.
