## Written prayer

Dear Lord, my God! How awesome you are! How I worship and glorify you! You are a God who does not lie. You do not permit evil nor support those who are with evil intentions. We are thankful when you raise up godly leaders over us. They desire only to serve you righteously. They pray and have faith that you will answer them for righteous ends. They know you bring victory in all challenging matters even when they only have faith as a grain of mustard seed. Oh Lord, to have that kind of faith in my daily life when challenges to my very existence as a believer come charging at me like an evil army bent on my destruction. Stir my small mustard seed of faith to grow to a giant tree of faith! Speak to me with your still small voice and show me your way and protect me even from myself when I am weak in faith and commitment. Please help me remember I only want to live for you and live righteously even when Satan wants to cause me to stumble. I want to be like King Hezekiah who was protected from the Syrian army taking over Jerusalem. I am like your Jerusalem Lord. Please protect me day and night. I will praise you with my whole heart for the wonderful things you are doing!

In Jesus name, Amen.
