## Written prayer

Dear Lord, Sometimes the moments before sleep can be the hardest. Memories of past sins, mistakes, and shameful encounters can flood my mind. Harbored anger, resentment, and unresolved conflict can keep me tossing and turning in my bed. I pray that You would relieve my mind tonight. I pray that You would set me down and remind me that Your grace is sufficient. Replace my wandering and unsettling thoughts with memories of Your goodness.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
