## Written prayer

Lord, You are merciful and patient, rich in love and slow to anger. When we wander, You do not turn away. You wait, calling us back with gentle persistence and grace. We confess our unfaithfulness, the times we have chased after empty things, forgetting that only You can satisfy our souls. Forgive us, Lord, for our wayward hearts. Cleanse us from the idols that have stolen our devotion. Teach us to recognize how easily we drift and to return quickly when we do. Restore in us a heart that longs for Your presence above all else. Thank You for never giving up on us—for always making a way back home. In Your mercy, renew our faith and remind us that Your arms are always open. May our lives reflect the joy of those who have been restored by Your love. Amen.
