## Written prayer

Dear Lord, Your word is clear that leaders are held to a higher standard. Those who desire to lead will be held accountable for everyone under their care. That is why we pray for the leaders of our communities. We pray for the decision makers, movers, shakers, and people in power. We pray that they would understand the gravity of their position, and humble themselves, lest they be humbled by You. We all occupy some sort of influence in this world, therefore, we all need to be dependent on You, filled with fear and reverence. Help us to seek Your will and lead well.
