## Written prayer

Dear Lord, We come before You humbled, knowing that justice is beautiful and costly. Teach us to hold justice and mercy together without pride or fear. We confess how easily we confuse being righteous with being right, and how slow we are to examine our own hearts when correction comes close to home. Teach us to kneel before we stand, to listen before we speak, and to obey from love rather than obligation. Help us tear down the idols we cling to and walk humbly with You each day. Let our love be courageous enough to change us, and our obedience shaped by trust in Your goodness. Amen.
