## Written prayer

Lord, so many like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob know you as the almighty God of power through your acts of intervention and miracles. But they do not know you as Jehovah, the absolute, eternal, self-existent one. You are the great I am and always have been. You are the same today, as you were yesterday, as you will be tomorrow. You never change. If I want to have a relationship with you I am the one who will have to change. You rule the heavens and the earth. It all belongs to you as the master creator of the universe. Help me Lord to enlarge my perspective of who you truly are. You’re more than a flannel board, Jesus, in Sunday school. You can’t be confined to my little finite mind. I only see but a small portion of who you are. You reveal a unique part of yourself to me that fits with your plan and purpose for my life. Others may see you differently based on their personality and gifts. That is why when your body of believers comes together I see a more holistic picture of your majestic being in all its multifaceted dimensions. You have fitly framed us together to show the world the intricacy of your being. I love you lord. There is no one like you. I bless your holy name. I pray these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
