# Global Prayer on Romans 6:6

## Written prayer

Heavenly Father, I humble myself before you and submit to your will for my life. My old sin nature has been crucified on the cross along with Jesus, my Lord and Savior. I no longer need to serve those sinful passions. Just as he overcame death once and for all, I am now cut off from the death that sin brings. I have a new life dedicated to Jesus Christ. Jesus you gave me the power through your death to die to all ungodly and unholy pursuits. I can now walk in the newness of Life with the power to overcome the sin that still struggles to raise it’s evil head. I am no longer a slave to sin and I declare Christ’s victory over sin on the cross as I chose to walk in victory and no longer yield to the influences of sin. Since you paid such a great price for my freedom never let me return to the deeds of the past and take what you did for me lightly. This was not about cheap grace this was about excruciating, passionate, deep love. I pray Lord that you will brand my heart with it that understanding so I never return to old ways again, In Jesus name, amen.
