## Written prayer

Father, no matter what I face I refuse to allow the enemy to ensnare me with his traps of discouragement and despair. He is always seeking to distract me from your love. Nothing in this world will ever replace the truth of the amazing Gift you have freely given me. I will give thanksgiving to my holy God for his unspeakable gift of love manifested in and through his son Jesus Christ. That gift is indescribable and is beyond my comprehension. You have poured out your love into the hearts of men who acknowledge you as their Lord and savior. You have given us the gift of your Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and empower us as we stand against the evil in this world. Everything you have given us is a divine gift of love. I am grateful that you have given me life and allow me to experience this marvelous world you created. Thank you for opening my eyes to the miracle of life. I am forever grateful for this wonderful season when the world acknowledges the birth of the savior of the world. The world sings praises to the name of Jesus and give glory to God for what you have done. In Jesus name, amen.
