## Written prayer

My God, My King, I glorify your holy name! You raised up Christ from the dead and made him the first of many to come after him. Because he calls me his own and has now become my lord and savior you will raise me up by that same power. Jesus paid the price to redeem me from the corruption and death I was born into through Adam's sin. Through the power of his resurrection I can live with you forever. You loved me so much you provided a way for me to come into your holy presence through the blood of your son. As I stand before you, my heavenly father, in my sinful attire you only see the blood of your beloved son Jesus Christ. You see how much he loved me and died to purchase me as his own. It is only through his blood that I am redeemed and find right standing with the father. Glory! This day is not a pagean holiday but resurrection Sunday. The day my Lord, Christ Jesus, broke the power of death and burst forth from the grave to prepare the way for his chosen. Thank you forever my wonderful king. In Jesus name, amen.
