## Written prayer

Lord, I thank you that you consider the fragile state of my physical body. You set the example for me to rest and be refreshed. You don't want me to burn out from stress and push myself beyond my limits. You are a God of balance and order. I can accomplish so much more when I am rested and revitalized. When I continue to push myself, I lose patience, make mistakes, and am easily angered. I also get so consumed with goals that I miss the time I need with you. Help me honor the Sabbath day; attend church and fellowship with believers. My spirit is restored when I do. Amen.
