> I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

## Written prayer

Dear Lord, my God, my life is a prayer to you and I wait for you to speak. God, my Lord, I am waiting and watching till morning. I recall your acts of the past and wait now with expectancy for what you are going to do in my life. I do not despair nor feel hopeless as I wait on you, Lord, because I am confident in the fact that you always answer prayers of your beloved ones, among which I am one. I wait for you, my soul waits, for in Your Love I would live; my soul waits for you, the Beloved as one awaits the birth of a child, or as one awaits the fulfillment of their destiny. As I wait on You, I call to you to turn your open ear toward me. I call for your forgiveness of my sins of this past year and to cleanse me. Forgive and cleanse my heart to the depths of my innermost being. But I wait on you with the confidence that you will respond to me. And, while I wait, you bless me with the movement of Your Spirit that draws me into your presence. I want to stay in your presence forever Lord! I do not want any of my sin to obstruct your entry into my heart. Thank You, Lord! I worship you and wait on your response to my prayers. In Jesus name, amen.
