## Written prayer

Father in heaven we pray that you would give us wisdom and insight into this great passage of Scripture. We thank you, Lord, that your Word is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword. And so we ask you, Lord, to speak to our hearts today as we come to you in humility and in a sincere desire to put your word into practice in our lives for you. Pray in Jesus name, Amen.
